About Ableton AG
Company History
Ableton was established by Bernd Roggendorf, Gerhard Behles and Robert Henke in 1999. Behles still remains the chief executive officer of the company.
Ableton's headquarters are located in Berlin, with a second office in California.
Ableton released the first version of Ableton Live in 2001.
Ableton Live is a digital audio workstation that immediately became an industry standard.
In March 2007 Ableton announced that it was going to collaborate with C74, the producers of a visual programming language for music and multimedia known as Max/MSP.
The collaboration would combine both of the companies fortes in order to make a new device.
My Reviews for Ableton Products
In 2009 "Max for Live" was finally announced. Currently, Ableton live has ten versions.
In cooperation with Akai, Ableton created the controller for Live.
With this controller, you have access to everything within the DAW.
Ableton Push 2 was released in 2015, and it featured better assimilation with the software from Live.
Today, most of the employees at Ableton are active musicians, DJ’s and producers who use Push and Live every day.
Their Mission Statement
Ableton’s main objective is to ensure the customers are up to date with the current trends in music and technology.
By constantly educating their staff, they provide knowledge that can be passed on to their customers.
Additionally, the staff is continuously looking for ways to improve their knowledge so they can create outstanding instruments.
By working on only a few products at a time, they ensure customer satisfaction.
What Makes This Manufacturer Special?
Music production in the 21st-century centers around technology.
It’s much easier to create music nowadays than it was twenty years ago.
That’s why Ableton stays up-to-date with all the new music and technology trends.
What sets the company apart from the others is that Ableton holds music production seminars to help us understand the product.
Last Words
Ableton is quite an accomplished company.
I am particularly a big fan of their dedication towards their employees and customers.
This company keeps up with all the current trends and can help you concentrate on your music without worrying about any hardware problems.
Since all of their employees are either DJ’s, producers or musicians, you know you’re in good hands.
A big thumbs-up for Ableton.
